I'll be teaching in India January 3-4, 2009.
I've been lucky enough to be asked to teach in Pune, India as part of a bold experiment in executive education. Elephant Design, India's largest strategic design firm has created the elephantversity institute of innovation. Their Master of Innovation is a multi-disciplinary program that gives participants the opportunity to sharpen their skills in collaboration with other professionals. It has been specifically developed to allow practicing professionals to expand their skills in a part-time capacity. The program's emphasis is on how creativity and design can impact corporate management on a strategic, tactical, and operational level, and enable and enhance the achievement of overall organizational goals. It is very exciting for me to take part.
Thanks to those who attended Design Summer Camp 2008!
I co-taught the first day of IIT's Institute of Design Design Summer Camp 2008. The day was fantastic and feedback has been very positive all around. This experiment in executive education for the Institute of Design seems to have hit the mark and I look forward to taking part in future similar sessions.
Projects up for review.
I uploaded a couple more projects from my time at the IIT Institute of Design. I would love to post some of my most recent Sapient work but, alas, client confidentiality prevents me from doing so. Until I can, check out the augmented reality project WNDR, some research regarding Building Sustainable Enterprises, and a report on social interactions in World of Warcraft: Too Many Projects, So Little Time.
